Re-finding a room of one's own

I’m taking a deep breath before I say this, but:

“I’m reclaiming our unused nursery as my writing space.”

And - you know what? It’s about flipping time.

How should I feel about this development? Am I sad? Resigned? Or maybe a little bit determined.

I’d say: all three. But it doesn’t come without a larger twang of heartache.
