Well, hello there. And welcome to this month’s very witchy Q&A! ✨

Thank you so much to everyone who submitted their questions – I’ve been excited to get this post out to you! I’ll be answering three of your questions every month so, without further ado, let’s go for it:

1. As a freelance writer, what does an average working day look like for you (if there is such a thing)?

This can vary massively! But here is an average day in my life:

I wake up at 7 a.m., get ready and head out for my daily reset/energising/inspiration walk before sitting down at my desk at around 8:50. I can hardly function without breakfast and a brew (ask anyone) so this tends to be my heartiest meal of the day. My cat, Linnet, has a blanket on the chair next to me so all of my days are overseen by her. It’s admin time until around 9:30 then I get stuck into writing. I’m currently working on a very special research project doing a deep dive into animal myth and folklore as well as witch’s familiars across time. I love it but I often find that time speeds away from me at this stage of the writing process!
